The object of this game is to see which team can be the first to put the words from John 3:16 in the correct order. To prepare for the game cut out 26 hearts for each team. (You may use the heart below for a pattern and use pastel colors to look like "candy conversation hearts". Or you may choose to use the red hearts.) Put one word on each of the hearts, scramble the order and place each set in a different envelope. To play, each team is given an envelope and the first team to spread the words out (on a table or floor) in the correct order wins the game.
Our children enjoy relays, so we will put the hearts on a table at the other end of the room and let each child take turns running to get a heart until the verse is completed.
