The Magic Number
The last time our youth met I wanted to play a game that would be fun for all ages, and also give the plan of salvation.  We had twenty some kids and their parents participate in this game I called, "The Magic Number".  We placed the chairs in a big circle with a space to divide into two teams.  Each player was given paper and a pencil and we began with a practice question to show them how to play.  I told each person to write down the name of a color and then stand up.  I then explained that the magic number was 8 and that after we had 8 answers we would go on to the next question.  The first player said the name of his color, "blue", and scored 1 point.  I then told everyone else who had written "blue" to sit down.  Then I asked the first standing person on the other team to name her color, "red" and she scored a point for team 2.  Everyone who had written "red" had to sit down.  Play continued with each team taking turns until all players were seated, or until we reached the magic number of 8.  If one team still had players standing after the players on the other team were all seated, that team had a chance to score more points, up to the magic number.  After everyone understood the rules, we began with the Bible questions.  This game was good because each person only had to know one answer to each question.  Some of the questions have many answers, but I have included enough to cover answers for "The Magic Number".  We began with 12 and worked our way down to 1.  I talked to our pastor earlier in the week and asked him to finish our game and talk to the children about the "One Way of Salvation".
